AI that builds whole products
Since 15 May 2026 Kronixon PI composes PC builds on its own: it picks compatible components from what is in stock, names the machine, fills in the specifications, writes the description and creates a finished product in the store.
Why configurations are a special case
A component retailer has thousands of items. The buyer, however, does not want a motherboard — they want a computer that does a particular job.
So the store offers ready-made builds. Each one is manual work: pick a processor, find a matching motherboard, check the power supply is enough and the case fits the graphics card, work out the price, write a description explaining who this machine is for.
An hour per build, if you carry the components in your head. And tomorrow half of them have a different price or are out of stock.
Two levels
Descriptions for configurations. Since April 2026 AI writes the content for a build that already exists: description, sections, component blocks with their photos, SEO URL and metadata. With a review step before publishing, as everywhere in the platform.
Config Builder. Since May 2026 AI composes the build itself. It starts from what is in stock right now, selects the components, respects compatibility, generates a title, fills in the features, and creates the product in PrestaShop.
That second part went through fifteen iterations in two weeks — compatibility is exactly the kind of thing where "almost right" does not work.
What keeps the quality
Live stock and prices. The build is assembled from what can actually be bought today, at today's price.
Compatibility rules. Not every combination is valid, and AI is not left to judge that on its own.
Deduplication. A mechanism finds and merges builds that are in practice the same machine under two names.
A human approves. The finished configuration waits for review before it reaches the store.
